Challenge
A battery energy storage system of 400 MW / 1600 MWh, with up to four hours of storage, beside Powerlink's Teebar Creek substation about 60km west of Maryborough. It will capture renewable energy and supply the Fraser Coast during peak demand and periods of low solar and wind generation.
What we did
Voditi prepared cost estimates at 30% and 70% design for Shaping Australia Group and Bild Group, from February to June 2026.
Outcome
Our estimates at 30% and 70% design helped Shaping Australia Group and Bild Group get shortlisted and taken through to the later procurement stages. We then handed over all estimating files and pricing so they could prepare their final 100% submission and negotiations.
