Challenge
Upgrades to two operating sewage treatment plants, at Charleville and Augathella, where existing site information was limited and not always accurate. Parts of the scope were open to interpretation going into design.
What we did
We took the design and construction teams through the scope with us, resolving each uncertainty as it came up rather than leaving it for construction. Working closely with the design consultants and delivery partners, we took both upgrades through design and procurement to a construction contract.
Outcome
Construction has started and works are underway. All parties continue to work together towards best-for-project outcomes.
